About Carol Harder
Carol Harder was born in Georgia. She graduated high school from Derby, Ks. Carol received her Bachelor's
Degree in Art Education for Wichita State University.
She Received her Master of Fine Arts Degree from Wichita State University with a major in Metalsmithing
and a minor in Printmaking. Carol taught High School Art in a couple of small towns. For 3 years Carol
taught Metalsmithing, Sculpture, and Art Education at Friends University, in Wichita. In 1978, she moved to
Shawnee Mission to teach Art, mostly, Jewelry, Photography and Sculpture At Shawnee mission Northwest
High School for 24 years. She retired in 2002. She opened a Driver Education School, Harder Performance
Driving School in 2000. Ms. Harder opened Harder Performance Art School and Art Gallery in 2002, and is
actively continuing her career as an Artist. She is working in her chosen field of
Metalsmithing, continues her personal Photography adventures around the world.
